Collaborations
Partnering in Taoist knowledge, practice, and cultural exchange.
Taoist-Lifestyle.Com engages in long-term collaborations with academic institutions, cultural organizations, and educational partners who share a commitment to the study, preservation, and transmission of authentic Daoist traditions.

Our Approach to Collaboration
Our collaborations are rooted in depth, integrity, and continuity. Rather than short-term or promotional initiatives, we focus on meaningful partnerships that support education, research, and cultural dialogue.
Each collaboration is developed carefully, with respect for both scholarly standards and traditional lineages, and aligned with the long-term mission of Taoist-Lifestyle.
Who We Collaborate With
We work with selected partners in the following domains:
-
Academic & Research Institutions
Universities, scholars, and research centres engaged in Daoist studies, Chinese philosophy, history, medicine, or related disciplines. -
Cultural & Heritage Organizations
Museums, libraries, foundations, and cultural institutes dedicated to philosophical, spiritual, or historical heritage. -
Educational & Training Platforms
Academies and institutions offering structured education in philosophy, movement, embodiment, or consciousness studies. -
Practice-Based Organizations
Carefully selected partners in movement, health, and mind-body disciplines, where collaboration supports mutual depth and professional integrity.
Selected Collaborations
An internationally recognised centre for philosophical and spiritual heritage, research, and public education. Taoist-Lifestyle collaborates with EFM on educational programmes, lectures, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
The Netherlands-China Association brings China closer: through information, dialogue, and connections.
VNC is an independent, active association dedicated to sharing knowledge and networks in cultural, business, and educational areas to foster better dialogue and cooperation between the Netherlands and China. We do this through meetings and publications for both members and non-members.
What We Offer in Collaboration
Depending on the nature and scope of the partnership, collaboration may include:
-
Co-creation of educational programmes and lecture series
-
Joint events, symposia, or conferences
-
Academic and textual research support
-
Cultural and philosophical exchange initiatives
-
Contribution to publications or curated content
-
Long-term programme development
-
Seasonal workshops and weekend seminars through selected collaborations
All collaborations are shaped in dialogue and aligned with the values and standards of both parties.
Seasonal Workshop Collaborations (Worldwide)
In addition to long-term partnerships, Taoist-Lifestyle.Com offers seasonal workshops through carefully selected collaborations worldwide. Our workshops combine Taoist Internal Alchemy (Neidan 內丹), Daoyin (導引), Yuanqigong (元氣功), and the Internal Martial Arts — including Taijiquan (太極拳), Baguazhang (八卦掌), and Xinyiliuhequan (心意六合拳) — always rooted in method, clarity, and correct foundations.
Workshop Season & Availability
Our primary workshop season runs each year during:
-
May & June
-
The second half of August
-
September
-
beginning of October
Fall, winter, and early spring workshops are possible indoors or in countries where climate conditions allow comfortable practice.
Workshop Formats We Offer
Depending on your context and audience, we offer three workshop formats:
A) Evening Workshop (2–3 hours)
A focused introduction or (seasonal) deepening session combining guided practice, study framing, and calm Q&A.
B) 1-Day Intensive
A complete training day with clear structure, practice refinement, and optional correction moments within the group.
C) 2-Day Weekend Seminar
A deeper weekend format for sustained development, integration, and serious training progression.
Collaboration Models
Because our collaborations vary, we work with several clear partnership models:
1) Revenue Share Collaboration
The host provides venue and local organisation, and Taoist-Lifestyle.Com provides the teaching and workshop structure. Ticket income is shared.
2) Flat Teaching Fee
The host pays a fixed teaching fee and manages ticketing and participant communication.
3) Co-Produced Series
For aligned long-term partners, we co-create a seasonal workshop series (for example 2–4 workshops per year), supporting continuity and shared development.
Payment Structure
To ensure clarity and professional planning:
-
A deposit is required to confirm dates
-
The remaining balance is paid before or on the first workshop day
-
For revenue share, settlement is made immediately after the event (or within an agreed timeframe)
A Thoughtful and Selective Process
We approach collaboration as a long-term commitment rather than an open call. Not every proposal will be suitable, and we appreciate well-considered inquiries that demonstrate clarity of intent and alignment with our work.
