We're all in for long-term partnerships—because who doesn't love a good commitment, right?

beijing 6_edited.jpg

From the One (the Taiyi or Great One) emerge the Two (Liangyi or Two Manifestations: Yin and Yang), that bring forth the Three (Sancai or Three Root-Forces: Heaven, Earth, and Humans) followed by the Four (Sixiang, Four Images, associated with the four moon phases, the seasons, and the seas) and then the Five (represented by the Five Agents or Movers, Wuxing), and so forth, leading up to the Wanwu or 10,000 Things or Beings.

One single drop is just one drop, but many drops create a pool or stream; a stream becomes a river, and a river flows into the sea.

With many drops or beings, we become a larger mass. With a larger mass, we can create movement and change. Our time is marked by significant global challenges that affect the well-being of many people, and by working together, we can raise awareness of how individuals and health organizations can use ancient wisdom for modern health and well-being.

We are eager to form long-term partnerships and collaborations with free-minded organizations and individuals who share similar societal goals and a common vision regarding Chinese (ancient) culture, aiming to achieve universal good health and well-being for everyone.

If you think, "I would like to be part of a bigger collaboration with like-minded people," then you can drop us a line in the contact form below.

Fields of expertise: Chinese martial arts, Chinese ancient culture, (Taoist) health practices like Yuanqigong, medical Qigong, mobility programs, Chinese (classical) language, anthropological fieldwork and scientific research on Taoist Internal Alchemy; (Internal) Martial Arts (like Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, Xinyiliuhequan, etc. Ancient Chinese Philosophy; Laozi, Zhuangzi, Chinese Fine Arts and Poetry, etc.

We look at health in a holistic way. We are mainly inspired by Chinese, Taoist healing methods, the insights and methods from almost disappeared traditions and modern scientific research.

Uncovering and sharing the universal and often forgotten wisdom about the body, is one of the main aims of Center OLM.

What you do and what/who surrounds you ultimately determines who you become. I am fortunate enough to be connected to Taoism, which makes me walk a deeper path against the conventional course of events. Not that it is always easy, but Taoism gives you a connection with a consciousness and with a kind of conscience so that you see things from a different perspective. It is an honor to experience this. I will continue on this path and will not keep the good for myself but also let it flow to others. I look forward to feeling more and more the fresh cheerfulness and lightness of Taoism. I am grateful to everyone who helped me in all my questions to walk this path.

Geert Van Loo (°1970) began his training in oriental martial arts in 1982 with shotokan karate, but soon switched to Chinese martial arts. As a teenager he practiced the Southern Chinese wushu (kung-fu) styles bai mei (pak mei) and cai li fo (choy lee fut). He began his taijiquan training at the age of 13 with the simplified Zheng Manqing (Cheng Manching) version of the Yang style and soon after also learned the more traditional Dong Yingjie (Tung Yingchieh) version under prof. dr. Dan Vercammen (Belgium). But his interest in martial taijiquan eventually brought him to Dan Docherty (Great Britain), student of grandmaster Cheng Tinhung (鄭天熊) and head instructor of Practical Tai Chi Chuan International, with whom he began his studies in 1988. In the meantime, he himself guided many students and won several international titles. For 35 years (from 1987 to 2022) he provided training at Chinese Boxing Club.

Jindanfa.com: We base our offering entirely on the Southern Tradition of the Golden Cinnabar, which was developed in China by Zhang Boduan (984 – 1082) during the Song Dynasty. The name of our institute, Jindanfa, refers to this: 'fa' means 'method' and 'Jindan' means 'Golden Cinnabar'. This term is used by Taoists for alchemical practices.

We represent a local branch of the above tradition. Our teacher is prof. dr. Dan K.J. Vercammen (alchemical name: Fei Danning). Our tradition is therefore an alchemical tradition, with mainly Taoist roots, but there are also Confucian and Buddhist influences.

TAO CENTRUM WESSEM

Tao Centrum Wessem, center for information about Natural Health Development.

Until April 1, 2021, it was the only professional institute in the field of Taoism in Limburg.

As of that date, the institute ended its consultations, therapeutic activities and courses.

This is because the founder, born September 1949, reached the age of 71.

Founder Jo Weyden (Wei You) had numerous students in his more than 40 years of experience in this field.

This frees up space for founder Wei You to continue explorations in areas that previously had little space due to lack of time, such as Taoist Calligraphy/Painting and the music tradition, practice and theory of instruments such as Zhong-Ruan and Guqin.

The basis of Wei You's knowledge is mainly formed by the ancient Chinese Taoist tradition and Tantric Buddhism.

This tradition includes TAO philosophy, Chinese massage TuiNa, Acupuncture, Rest and relaxation training JingGong (meditation) and, last but not least Taijiquan & Qigong.
