These Terms supersede and replace all previous versions of the general Terms & Conditions published by Taoist-Lifestyle.Com and apply to all use of the website and services from the effective date stated above.

These Terms do not retrospectively alter rights or obligations arising from a purchase completed before this effective date or from a separate signed agreement, unless the change is required by mandatory applicable law or has been expressly agreed in writing by the parties concerned.

These general Terms & Conditions do not replace the Academy Enrolment Agreement. If there is any inconsistency between them, the signed Academy Enrolment Agreement will prevail in relation to Academy participation, subject to applicable mandatory law.

12. LIFETIME ACCESS TO EXERCISE VIDEO LIBRARIES

​

Where a program expressly includes “lifetime access” to an exercise video library, this refers to continuing personal access to the short exercise videos included with the program at the time of purchase.

This access may be provided through the Taoist-Lifestyle.Com website, a successor platform, or by making the relevant videos available for personal download. It does not guarantee permanent access to the same website, member account, software, platform, or technical environment.

​

Taoist-Lifestyle.Com may change the platform or method through which the exercise videos are provided. If an exercise video library or platform is discontinued, participants will, where reasonably possible, be given an opportunity to download the videos included with their purchase.

​

Downloaded videos may be retained for continued personal practice. Access and use remain personal, non-transferable, and subject to these Terms. The videos may not be copied for others, shared, published, distributed, modified, sold, used for teaching, or made available to third parties without prior written permission.

Taoist-Lifestyle.Com reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to a member account in the event of misuse, a security risk, unauthorised sharing, infringement of intellectual property rights, or another material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, any continuing entitlement to legitimately purchased exercise videos may instead be provided through a separate download method.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Preserving relevant communications, publications, screenshots, technical records, and other available evidence, in accordance with applicable privacy law.

• Requesting the immediate cessation of the conduct and the correction, removal, or withdrawal of false, misleading, defamatory, confidential, or unlawfully disclosed material.

• Issuing a formal notice, cease-and-desist request, or other written legal communication.

​​

• Reporting unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing content to the relevant website, platform, hosting provider, service provider, regulatory body, or competent authority.

• Restricting or terminating access to member accounts, interactive services, communication channels, or other services in accordance with these Terms.

​​

• Seeking urgent protective or interim measures where necessary to prevent or limit continuing harm.

• Commencing legal proceedings and seeking any remedies available under applicable law, including correction or removal of content, injunctive relief, compensation for proven losses or damage, and recovery of legal costs where permitted.

Any delay or failure by Taoist-Lifestyle.Com to exercise or enforce a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right and does not prevent Taoist-Lifestyle.Com from taking action at a later time.

Nothing in this section restricts the right to express an honest opinion, submit a complaint in good faith, publish a truthful review, seek independent legal advice, use consumer mediation, or contact a competent authority.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and enforceable.
