Biography of Gijsbert Ruitenburg
(芮德寶)

Gijsbert Ruitenburg (芮德寶), alchemical name 致德, is a practitioner of Taoist arts and internal cultivation practices associated with Jindanfa and the China Arts College (CAC) / Taoist Alchemical Studies Centre (TASC).

He was originally trained as a nurse (Bachelor of Nursing) at the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen. During his education and professional work in healthcare, he developed a sustained interest in Taoist philosophy, internal cultivation, and traditional Chinese health practices.

Following his nursing education, Gijsbert Ruitenburg undertook formal Taoist arts training at China Arts College in Antwerp, where he completed a comprehensive curriculum in Taoist studies, Internal Alchemy, Internal Martial Arts, and Taoist health practices.

In 2017, he obtained the degree of Master of Taoist Arts from China Arts College.
